Passenger to Pilot mission

What is Passenger to Pilot?

Passenger to Pilot is a coaching and mentoring practice that helps people take ownership of their next chapter, whether that’s navigating early career choices, mid-career shifts, or senior leadership challenges. It’s about moving from being carried by expectations to choosing your direction with clarity.

Who do you work with?

I work with:

  • Young adults (ages 16–25) navigating education, early jobs, or indecision

  • Parents who want to support their teens or young adults without controlling the process

  • Professionals who feel stuck, undervalued, or ready for change

  • Senior leaders who want confidential space to think clearly, reposition, or lead with more intention

Where are you based?

I’m based in London, but I work with clients across the world online. In-person sessions may be available locally.

What are your fees?

Fees start from £50 per hour for young adult support, £150 per hour for professionals and £250 per hour for senior leader work. I offer flexible options depending on your needs and engagement type. Let's talk about what’s right for you.

How do I get started?

Just get in touch. We’ll book a free 15-minute discovery call to talk about what you need, what you're looking for, and whether I’m the right fit for you.

Young Adults – FAQ

What age group do you work with?

I typically work with people aged 16–25 including those in high school, college and university, and those in their first few jobs.

Do I need to have a clear goal before starting?

Not at all. Many young adults come to me unsure of what they want—that’s the point. I help you explore your interests, values, and strengths so you can start building direction and confidence.

Can you help with CVs and interviews?

Yes. I support clients with CV writing, internship and job applications, mock interviews, and assessments, as well as helping you build the mindset to approach all of it with less stress and more self-belief.

Do you offer coaching for young adults who aren’t sure what to do after school or university?

Yes. I help students and graduates explore their options, develop clarity, and build confidence, whether they’re unsure about their course, looking for internships, or trying to land a first job.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes. We can work together over time. Some people book one or two meetings, while others check in during key moments - like choosing what to study, applying for internships, or preparing for job interviews.

How much does it cost?

Fees for young adults start from £50 per hour. We’ll agree what suits you best - whether that’s a single session or ongoing support.

Parents – FAQ

My child’s struggling - can I set this up for them?

Yes. Many young adults are referred by parents. I’m happy to talk with you first, then take it from there. But the work itself stays centred on your child’s needs.

How do you involve parents?

If helpful, I offer a short check-in (with your young adult’s consent) to ensure we’re all aligned. But the coaching relationship remains between me and your child—this protects their trust and autonomy.

What if my child doesn’t feel comfortable discussing their future plans with me?

That’s very common. I provide a neutral, supportive space where young adults can explore their options - whether related to study, courses, or career - independently. This often helps them gain the clarity and confidence to engage more openly with parents when they're ready.

Can you help us navigate disagreements or tension?

Yes. I support both young adults and parents to manage this tricky transition, helping families shift from control to collaboration.

Professionals – FAQ

I’ve done well in my career. Why do I still feel stuck?

You’re not alone. Many professionals feel stuck, undervalued, or unsure what’s next, even when things look “successful” on paper. I help you explore what’s behind that feeling, so you can realign, reset, or simply lead with more clarity and intention.

What kind of professionals do you work with?

From those who are starting out to mid-career to senior executives, I support people across industries throughout the world.

Do I need a clear goal?

No. You just need to be ready to explore what’s working, what isn’t, and what might need to shift. We’ll figure out the rest together.

What does the process involve?

I offer 1:1 sessions online or in person (if local), with tools for reflection, planning, and accountability. It’s tailored to you - whether you want to make a change or just feel more in control where you are.

What are your fees?

Fees for professional clients start from £150 per hour, depending on the type and length of support.

Senior Leaders – FAQ

Do you offer executive coaching?

Yes. My executive coaching is designed for senior leaders navigating high pressure, big roles, or personal transitions. It’s grounded, strategic, and confidential.

What’s a Strategic Sounding Board?

It’s not coaching, not therapy, not consulting - it’s trusted thought partnership for critical moments: M&A, restructures, board dynamics, or legacy decisions. A space to test ideas and clarify thinking without needing to perform.

Do I need to choose one or the other?

Not necessarily. Some clients move between coaching and sounding board sessions depending on their needs. We build the relationship around you.

What’s your experience?

I’ve served as Global COO of several substantial businesses at BlackRock and also operated as COO and Executive Director at the Financial Conduct Authority (the UK’s financial regulator). I bring commercial realism, discretion, and insight to every conversation.

What are your fees?

Senior leader engagements start from £250 per hour, with bespoke packages available for longer-term work.
